More than 40 million Americans have been diagnosed with arthritis. This crippling disease can cause stiffness, swelling, and severe joint pain, leading to a loss of motion and mobility. The good news is that innovative designs, gentler surgical techniques, and advancements in pain management have significantly reduced post-surgery down-time and rehabilitation.

Dr. Turner has introduced several modern techniques to Cowlitz County, including the first arthroscopic anterior cruciate reconstruction and arthroscopic shoulder surgeries at St. John. He has performed more than 7,500 surgeries during his career.

St. John Medical Center is home to a Joint Replacement Care Center equipped with the latest technology. Click here for additional information about the Center.
